Ellie Goulding has several tattoos to date decorating her body. She has chosen a variety of them and they are quite beautiful.
- Ellie’s first tattoo was a red ink outline of a triangle on the inside of her right wrist.In her song “Wish I Stayed” she sings“Why do I always draw triangles instead of the words this paper so deserves?” so we can guess she love triangles. :) And in a interview she told GQ magazine she told about this tattoo. “I got a random tattoo the other day. It’s a red triangle, which makes everyone think I’m arty, which I’m not. I used to draw red triangles all the time. It must mean something — maybe I don’t know it yet. But I’ll figure it out.”
She is correct it looks arty and very odd but in a cute way. Nice elegant tattoo. Let's hope one day she find out what triangles mean. :)
- Ellie has an arrow tattoo in white ink on her right index finger. She got the tattoo in June 2013. But she was thinking about it for years. In 2011 she filmed a video in which she asks a tattoo artist to sketch some arrow tattoos.
- Ellie have another tattoo which is a writing in red ink tattooed on her left wrist in November 2013.
- There is another Lotus on her body. It is on her right side of her rib cage and it looks like a lotus. She Instagrammed saying “Say not ‘I have found the truth’ but rather ‘I have found a truth.'”
- In an interview with 99 scenes Ellie told about a tattoo of letter "J" on her side but there are no clear photos of it.
- Newest add to her collection is a skull tattoo on her finger which is a matching tattoo with Dougie Poynter
